Our Puppies

Our puppies are sold on a reservation basis to approved homes. Our pet puppies are sold on AKC limited registration basis with a 2-year health warranty. A personal interview - in person or by phone - is required before a reservation will be accepted. Personal references are required.

In every litter, Twin Leaf Golden Retrievers reserves the right/option to choose a puppy for ourselves. Most of our litters are bred with the intent to keep a show/working prospect.

Twin Leaf Golden puppies are raised in our home from birth until they leave for their new homes – they are highly socialized with children, dogs, birds, household noises and receive lots and lots of love. We begin paper training at 3 weeks to help initiate housebreaking and starting at 5 weeks puppies are exposed to wire crates.

Each puppy is examined at 6 weeks by our veterinarian. It receives its first inoculation, is wormed, and a health certificate is issued. We highly suggest a limited vaccination schedule, weight limits and provide each family with a comprehensive “how to care for your new puppy” packet.

Each pup goes home with our puppy packet which includes:
1) Training tips
2) Copies of all pertinent health clearances for sire and dam
3) Pictures
4) Certified pedigree
5) Feeding recommendations
6) AKC registration papers

7) A list of recommended reading  for Golden Retriever owners and useful websites.

Twin Leaf Golden Retrievers also reserves the right to offer a full refund on any funds exchanged if we decide placement of a pup within a specific family situation is not in the best interests of the pup or the family.

We pride ourselves on our after sale support and are always available to offer assistance by email, telephone, or in person for the life of your dog. I have a selection of good puppy information and training books that I highly recommend for reading prior to receiving your new furry baby.
