Books for new puppy owners
First, and most important, find a good puppy class and follow that up with an obedience training class. These first few months are critical in your puppy’s life for shaping your dogs behavior, socialization and obedience training. Furthermore, you should expect to put in time and investment to “train” your new puppy for at least a year. You will be rewarded with a reliably obedient and happy family member.
